It was a tough battle for the Rams playing on their new pitch for the first time.

Allenton came with a strong team, full of pace and power up front and put us under immense pressure for the first 20 minutes.

The Rams defence were solid though and dealt with everything thrown at them, throwing their bodies in the way of shots and making plenty of clearances. However, the pressure eventually told as Allenton took the lead. This just kicked the boys in to life, similar to last week.

Having gone 1-0 down, the boys really started to step up and take control of the game. Once the equalizer came, from Theo Baines, soon to be known as Connect for his ability to score 4 goals a game, the Rams never looked back. Goals 2,3,4 quickly came followed by goals from George Mitchell and Oli Bayley.

Assists were duly provided by Oli Bayley (2), Theo Baines (2), Finn Enion and George Mitchell.

A special mention has to go to the defence for such a solid display and Jake for going in goal when needed.

A second win on the bounce was the perfect way to head into next weeks Cup fixture.
